The Trianglelab Melt Zone Extender (ZME-V) is a precision-engineered adapter designed to replace a standard Volcano-style nozzle, extending the melt zone by 8.5 mm. This increased melt length significantly improves filament flow, allowing for higher extrusion rates, better layer consistency, and more reliable high-speed or large-nozzle printing.
Manufactured from a copper alloy with a nickel-plated surface, the extender provides excellent thermal conductivity while resisting oxidation and reducing filament adhesion. It is an ideal upgrade for users printing at high flow rates, large layer heights, or demanding materials.

Installation Notes

• Fully screw the extender and Volcano nozzle together with no visible gap

• Tighten the nozzle into the heater block using a 7 mm socket

• Secure the extender with a 10 mm socket

• A 0.3–1 mm gap between extender and nozzle flange is normal

• Hot-tightening is recommended to prevent leakage

• Do not exceed 2 Nm torque
